I have gathered my best advice on how to study in this series of blog posts – Effective Studies.
Exercises
Exercises have always been the primary learning method for me. It’s when I do them that I truly understand the topic.
It is good to have done the exercises beforehand and have questions prepared to get the most out of the exercise session. Take the opportunity to discuss the topic with the teacher.
Another good piece of advice regarding exercises is to think about what each exercise is supposed to teach you. If you can figure out the lesson to learn, you have probably already learned the lesson.
